Featured article: Trimester-specific thyroid hormones during normal pregnancy

Considerable variations in the thyroid hormone profile among populations combined with pregnancy associated alterations in thyroid function necessitate the need to establish trimester-specific reference hormone ranges in different populations; this study is the first to establish trimester-specific reference ranges in Sudanese women with normal pregnancies.
