Effects of RNAi-mediated knockdown of AaegPTEN and PTEN 6 on egg production and viability: A. Female mosquitoes injected with AaegPTEN dsRNA laid significantly more eggs than control females injected with DsRed dsRNA. AaegPTEN6 dsRNA injected females also laid significantly higher number of eggs than DsRed control females. B. There was no significant difference in the viability of eggs laid by AaegPTEN or AaegPTEN6 dsRNA injected females and DsRed control females. C. Data from 4 different trials of RNAi Experiments.
