  1. Hemodynamic measurements (WT n = 6, C3H/HeJ: n = 3) and echocardiography (WT n = 6, C3H/HeJ: n = 6) were performed 24h after MI/R. Hemodynamic parameters showed no significant difference for contractility (+ dp/dtmax) and relaxation (- dp/dtmin). However, left-ventricular developed pressure (LVDevP) was significantly higher in WT. End-systolic left-ventricular volume (ESV) and end-diastolic left-ventricular volume (EDV) showed no difference. *p < 0.05.
